Our History
Christian Schools Owners’ Association (CSOA) was formed in 2018 as the unifying umbrella body for the founders of Christian learning institutions in Uganda. The learning institutions make annual subscriptions to the umbrella body (CSOA). The institution aims at promoting education excellence; providing technical support; capacity building on resource mobilization and advocacy; leadership and governance; financial management; entrepreneurship and promoting excellence in Christian education. CSOA in its management has the management Board who oversees the operations of the Association. Besides, there is also the Association President (Board Chairperson) who reports to the board of directors and oversees and provides technical guidance to the institution. Furthermore, the Association has the Chief Administrative Officer (CEO) who provides technical expertise during the execution of activities of the Association and is fully responsible for the management of the Associations’ operations. The CEO is being assisted by the Administrative maneger. CSOA works with structures (school directors) who work as coordinators during the implementation of its activities. CSOA has representatives accross regions (Regional Coordinators) for Greater Masaka, Greater Hoima, Elgon and Busoga, Western, West Nile, Northern and Central. There are also coordinators who head the districts and those heading the parishes. Currently CSOA has representatives in all the districts in Uganda.
